Our client is looking for an experienced IT-professional with a proven track record within Programme Management and a background in testing environments. Do you have a succesful history in testing practices, quality engineering, test automation and test management? And perhaps even a previous experience in the finance industry? Then this role is right up your alley.

As a Programme Manager, you will: 

  • Improve the testing framework and lead its implementation plan, adopting an Agile delivery approach and providing regular values to delivery/testing team of the group
  • Work in close collaboration with the programme sponsor(s), the business and technology stakeholders ensuring scope, schedule and budget are managed effectively
  • Drive a team composed by internal and external qualified resources supported by IT partners for the capability’s delivery
  • Create and maintain relevant testing knowledge and competencies in the team and in delivery/testing teams. Oversee, develop, and ensure adherence to industry best practice standards. 
  • Create and maintain focus, transparency, enthusiasm, and momentum: this programme is essential to reach the next level of testing maturity within the entire organization 
  • Manage budget control for related investments, benefits, capacity, delivery plan, metrics. Consider continuous improvements and innovation. 
  • Be responsible for the overall integrity and coherence of the programme, as well as the communication plan

  • Have a proven work experience – preferably in the finance industry – with multiple including offshore locations  
  • Have strong leadership skills and can provide direction, strategic agility, self-reflection, inspire/engage 
  • Are client-focused and results-oriented
  • Are able to learn quickly in a complex environment
  • Are a team player with strong interpersonal skills 
  • Are able to summarize complex technical situations in simple terms
  • Are able to easily adapt to new circumstance, technologies and/or procedures
  • Are proficient in English (both written and oral) 
  • Are used to report to Senior Management

Technical skills

  • You have a track record in large IT organization transformations, with complex business workflows combining applications from multiple technologies/platforms, Mainframe/Distributed…
  • Have extensive knowledge of testing practices, including Quality Engineering, Test Management and Test Automation
